Tooth 3D morphological detailed measurement option

The dentin and pulp are separated and extracted based on the
degree of mineralization and morphological characteristics,
and the 3D morphological quantities of these structures are
analyzed in detail. Tooth phenotypes between animal groups
are obtained from the morphological features of each structure.

Main measurement items

1. Volume, surface area and thickness for enamel, dentin
and pulp
2. Enamel, dentin and pulp
(Ellipsoidal approximation) major axis (a) intermediate axis
(b) minor axis length (c) major axis ratio a/c major axis a/b
3. Enamel, dentin, and pulp
Histogram of lime scale distribution
4. Enamel outer-to-inner distance, that is, the width histogram
between the surface and the dentin boundary
5. Histogram of dentin outer/inner distance, that is, between
surface and pulp
6. Pulp thickness histogram
